The plastic parts are not only produced in-house, they are also assembled, welded, bonded or printed in-house too. Our ultra-modern online pad printing system enables almost cycle-time-neutral printing of the components in up to 3 colours. This system was developed specifically to interlink with the injection moulding process.

2-COMPONENT TECHNOLOGY

Mues Products & Moulds GmbH is a competent point of contact for this technology. The advantage of this process, for example, is that parts which are usually fitted with a gasket in elaborate production steps can now be produced cost-efficiently in a single operation. The moulds can be tested and acceptance takes place in-house. We will advise you which technology is the most economical for your parts. Whether upset, core withdrawal, slide plate, turntable, index plate or sliding table process, we have all the techniques at our fingertips.

GAS-ASSISTED MOULDING TECHNOLOGY

Gas-assisted moulding technology is a special process for producing a hollow plastic part in a single operation. This technology allows the fabrication of thick-walled mould geometries, or stabilises your part due to the cavity introduced. We have already implemented special solutions for transporting liquid/gaseous media or laying cables in gas ducts.

FILM INSERT MOULDING

Many different designs can be implemented with this special moulding process. A decorated film is placed into the die and back-injected with plastic. We can apply any design by screen printing, enabling a limitless range of lettering, wood grain, photos, etc. The film has a scratch-resistant coating with a wear layer up to 0.25 mm thick. As a result, the decoration is usually unaffected even if exposed to wilful damage.
